I've seen so may messages on facebook of people calling their relatives about how bad it was getting, then losing all contact. |

Unlike most storms where we get a week+ notice, this one barreled through the gulf and only really raised flags a couple days ago. It is probably my favorite place on the coast, although I have stayed pretty much everywhere down there. Great family memories- it is more laid back than Destin or Seaside or Seagrove Beach etc... still kinda old Florida.
