Wait, the Red Cross confiscated personal items that were given out? Wth is wrong with that picture. Quoting: HollyWho The Red Schields rob from the poor, give to them that gots. Evil is becoming prevalent. I won't donate to any of those organizations for a reason. I can tell you this.. When my house burned to the ground, I had a small child. We didn't even have a toothbrush. EVERYTHING was gone but what was on our backs. She was flown to a children's hospital, while I was left in another on the other side of the state. When I was released, Red Cross was there. Put me in a hotel and paid for all my essentials to get restarted. Including funds for beds and other furniture to back on our feet. (I rented at the time and had no renters insurance) They did right by me.
