I understand that, but the balance is off there. They don't deserve what they get. Even they know they don't deserve what they get.
Marketing or not, majority of that money should go to worthwhile causes to help the planet and humanity. I don't fucking see that happening...

Good causes are better funded by willing and able hearts and hands asking for nothing in return if you ask me. It certainly can solve some problems yes? Like clean drinking water just as an example? A lack of money did not cause that problem, so no, it will never solve it. It will only make it better for a time until the root issue, left unaddressed, overcomes the band-aid applied through financial means. A lot of places with polluted water sources are from consumerist trash and industrial waste - i.e. the most basic results and means of acquiring capital wealth. One could argue that money is actually the cause of that problem in a lot of places. problem + problem != solution
