Rod Rosenstein on Air Force One??

Trump told reporters at the White House that he had "a very good relationship" with Rosenstein and was eager to speak with him aboard Air Force One on a flight to Florida for the International Association of Chiefs of Police conference. They did talk, for about 30 minutes, but not alone, a spokesman said later.

Trump is scheduled to the police chiefs conference in Orlando. The Justice Department in the Trump administration has said reducing violent crime and supporting local enforcement are priorities.

The speculation over Rosenstein's future concerned Democrats, who feared that a dismissal could lead to Trump curtailing Mueller's probe. Although Trump has at times criticized his deputy attorney general, he has reserved his sharpest verbal attacks for Attorney General Jeff Sessions, who recused himself from the Russia investigation in March 2017 because of his own earlier involvement with the Trump campaign.

Both men will likely see their futures re-evaluated after the elections, Trump advisers have said.

Besides the meeting with Trump, Rosenstein has also agreed to a private meeting with House Republicans who want to question him about his reported statements on the president.

Trump probably had Rosenstein on board for the Police Union's speech just to fuck with his head. Can you imagine being RR on that flight? Has to be a bit uncomfortable and intimidated wondering if Trump is going to fire him, throw him under the bus during his speech or leave him behind when he departs.

Yeah, the whole thing is bizarre...

Why not drop to like 100 feet right above the water and see how many times you can skip him?! That'd be more fun and interesting.

So RR flew down on AF1 with Donald. Did Donald invite him on the return trip or did RR have to find his own way back to the swamp.

What would have been excellent is if Trump diverted AF1 to Gitmo and told RR to step off. Then leave him there. I bet his Commie friends would have gotten RR back to the Swamp in a couple of days, though.
