Your right, he had help.

Someone definitely wanted him to get there.

But the process was not difficult or hard for him.
Everything just seemed to flow naturally from the previous lesson learnt.
It definitely did not feel like work at all.
It was more like a big adventure in his mind.

What he does find difficult, however, is living a normal, productive life as a regular man.
For some reason, he has always struggled with this.
Even as a child he was the same, always questioning everything and never committing to anything.
Always just waiting for whatever thing he found himself stuck doing (school, sports, uni, work etc) to end.

It's ironic that what most people find very difficult he achieved with ease, but what most people can do very easily he struggles with...
