Floridians -- really worried about the gubernatorial race

The left is trying to take down Florida, Texas and Alabama by any illegal means at their disposal.

I am in the South.
Been here for 10 years.

Broward is a shithole.

I a $20 an hour Conservative.
That makes me just a hair above poor in South Florida.

Say what you want about the libs, at least their guy will give them crumbs to eat. Guys like Scott and Desantis dont give two shits about the working class voter.

Its all about the millionaires for them.


They only care about making it better for the rich while the left panders to the criminal class.
The only thing they are good on is guns but I cant feed my family a glock nor can we live in one.



You have good reason to fear this election, I suspect the left will take hold because the right has not done anything to protect the working class other than to ensure there are many low paying slave jobs out there.


Not everyone can be a Doctor or Lawyer, do we deserve to starve or live on the street?

The COL is South FL is as high as NY but the pay is stuck in 1997.

You see lines of old and working people queued up at CSL plasma all day long just to afford food.

Florida is a shithole and I cant wait to GTFO.

And right now we have low salaries and nothing for the people.

We have open air crack markets and untouchable violent offenders while the Cops spend 85% of the day looking for seatbelt violations and weed smokers.

$200 a month for water.
$300 for power
Jobs paying $12.00 an hour for "managers".

The right has failed and out of misguided desperation, many might consider the socialists.


While it might get worse, people have been pushed to the limit.

The right said let them eat cake and those chickens are coming home to roost.

20 an hour isn't rich but it damn sure isn't poor. You are blaming R's when the area you live in is clearly run by Dems. That's your problem. Dems always drive up the cost of living. Always.

Gillum is a straight-up socialist and made a mess of Tallahassee but has consistently been tracking several points ahead of DeSantis.

I learned the uselessness of polls during Trump's election but still -- it's worrisome. I can't imagine living here with Barack 2.0 destroying all the gains our state has made.

The state is 1/3 seniors living on a fixed income. We all know if a radical lefty gets in as governor, taxes will explode and cost of living will sky rocket.

The only way Gillum gets in would be by massive voter fraud.


Florida state house and senate is 2/3rds republican. The state and local elections run very conservative. Only in federal elections is Florida a swing state.


Latest polls have Gillum only 1 point ahead which is within margin of error.

What has failed is the Dem party you seem to support, although you won't admit it. That area you live in is heavily Dem. They are parasites that bring everyone else down, including how far your dollar goes. Move to a different area and you might get a different perspective.

I hear you. I lived in Florida for many years and worked all over the state. It's a beautiful state and would be a great place to live after you've made you millions, but it's not a good place to try and make a living. Everything is stacked against the worker. Low wages + high cost of living = shithole. I moved to GA, tripled my income and I live in the country so cost of living is way low compared to FL.
