May be a current C-17 from the Royal Australian Air Force.

But the pilot is now a former member of the Royal Australian Air Force.

Part of an aerial demonstration that was briefed and planned ad nauseam before hand and executed in complete safety.

Awesome demonstration of the C-17s immense power and capabilities and those of its crew.

Salute!

It's a very capable aircraft. I took a ride on one from Fort Bragg all the way to Bagram, with one in-flight refueling.

It's quite possible I jumped out of his aircraft, then.

Re: Boeing C-17 plane of the Royal Australian Air Force
About 13 days ago (where we live is on the east side of the Penines in County Durham a town called Stanhope ) me and the wife were just sitting on the decking outside enjoying the bit of September sunshine with a cup of tea and a couple of dunkers (biscuits.......because we dunk them in the tea) when we heard this almighty whining and rushing of compressed air we stood up to see a C17 of the RAF at treetop hight as he drew level with our bungalow we could quite clearly see the copilot on the right the plane seemed to stand up on its tail climed a few hundred feet with a deafening roar as the four jet engines were working for their fuel then the pilot pitched the plane almost 90 degrees to execute a left turn........never seen any thing like this before here, we get eurofighters and tornadoes and USAF Jets would they be F16’s with twin tail fins at an angle
