I'm calling BS. 158 days away from earth on a one way trajectory. Three grown men need a lot of calories and water per day and unless NASA hooked a couple of semi tractor trailers to the bumper of the space craft for storage, then how did the astronauts survive for so long. Gotta believe that this is a hoax. Probably green or blue screened the piss out of old NASA footage.

I'm sort of having a deja-vu moment here. Any chance it has been posted on this forum before? I'm wondering if it was previously debunked or something.

But then again, I keep thinking that they are trying to get past the Van Allen Belt now and sending animals to test new space craft? How did they do it back then (for the Moon and Mars)?

CGI effects are very convincing these days...and VERY expensive and time consuming.

Have you ever stayed to see the end credits of a Marvel or other movie heavily reliant on CGI?

There are hundreds if not a thousand people working on post effects producing segments in effects houses across the world to get those movies done.

I think the video OP posted was all done "in camera", meaning it was shot without such effects using existing footage as stated by Astro.

What was that moving on the surface?

I can understand your anger that the TFH YouTube channel is gone, but can you provide any evidence that, as you claim, YouTube shut it down?

Did YouTube also shut down the TFH homepage that had it's last entry, just the TFH logo, in January 2017 and is on sale since one year?

I can imagine a thousand reasons why, under certain circumstances, I would erase as much of the traces I left in the internet as possible. But if you have evidence for your claim that YouTube shut down the channel, it would be nice if you post it.


But to stay on topic: There are several posts on a competing forum (may not be mentioned here) from 2010 that show screenshot from the video and the correlating photos of Apollo, ISS, aso. - thus, as you say, definitely fake.

Astromutt has spoken. Yep. I figured it was Skylab mixed with other stuff. We did do well known stuff that could work in this video. I thought the frame showing at the beginning of the video was probably skylab (the one with "mars" in the background. By the way, I'd like to post something interesting. Google Earth of Death Valley would easily work for a Mars "space video", scroll around on this terrain, any foreign "world" could be faked there.</p><p>

I thought YouTube usually showed that a user has removed their own channel if they were the ones that did it. If he removed it himself I apologize, but it simply says the channel no longer exists with no further explanation.

Well, if you worked in Hollywood as a professional filmmaker, you would know how to fake it.

I thought it was the other way around: If it's removed because of copyright or TOS violations it's stated in the channel: "This channel was removed because of ...".

Statements like this, derived from your crystal ball, and presented as facts without any evidence, damage your reputation - but that is just my old fashioned opinion.

China and Russia have had a joint Mars mission going since the early 90's. Scuttlebut has it that they, jointly will claim mars as sovereign territory and that "Terra" precedent will support their claims.

I think this was part of a British TV series.

In the shot where the moon was in the foreground and the earth was in the distance, the wrong side of the moon is showing. If the earth and moon were ever in this position, we would be able to see the backside of the moon from Earth.
