You should find out really why she became famous instead of regurgitating old false talking points. Here's the real scoop:

She became famous because she made a huge following on social media BEFORE she ever released her first record. The very reason most musicians fail at becoming famous after they put out a record - they forgot to put a group of fans together FIRST. Because she learned how stats were pulled on new albums she grouped her fans into groups and asked each group to buy her album on a certain day - and they did. Because she made a relationship with her fans FIRST. It also helped that she played guitar and sang her own songs and had a portfolio of songs, from writing for several years BEFORE she did a radio tour, so she didn't have to have a bunch of musicians tag along with her when she pitched her songs - she could do it herself. And of course, she always does a little something special for her fans - its amazing to me more musicians haven't caught onto all this yet.

Anyhow, I thought it was very logical and quite interesting approach. I didn't know who she even was until someone on facebook said my daughter looked just like her body double - so I had to find out who she was of course...... LOL!

But I have to admit I'm disgusted by the direction her music has taken - it has become very dark instead of the young broken hearted country girl stuff. So sad. Very sad.
