That area is sort of close to Israel. Israel is running out of water and some mega-city right on their border would mean they would be going to war over what water is left. Unless they figure a a cheap and effective way to desalinate sea water which I don't see them doing in the future. The only other solution would be to pipe water from Libya through Egypt and then to the Mega-city. . |
