Ebola is Highly Contagious. and, as a general rule, Lethal.
Quoting: Mark Leland Ebola is not particularly contagious because it spreads via bodily fluids. It is also too lethal. A real doom virus is airborne, highly contagious and about 50-60% lethal. Exactly. If it was as contagious as people make it out to be, we'd have seen cases outside of Africa. yeh. that's probly why WHO is holding an Emergency Meeting. Usually the outbreak is in Nigeria. This one in Congo, different strain, mutating, moving, no controls in place. With terrorists trying to get their hands on biologicals it could get dangerous. WHO is also meeting about something else entirely... and that's another issue. possibly rabies, possibly some other thing passed on by domestic animals... in which case will take off like wildfire.
