Script followers?

Is this different than a hive minder?

I would guess "hive minder" would be pretty close.

So many (including myself) have been asking what NPC means...I thought I would post a thread.

Attempted appropriation of a gaming term for viral memetics to dehumanize opposition, but misused due the inherent confusion of the real meaning behind the acronym.

Also, once you get it being passed along through multiple generations of NPCs, you get the "Chinese Whispers" effect as well. Drastically ratcheting up the level of crazy.

Plant life in animal form. Totally dependent on the surroundings to determine the output and outcome. (Soil, air, water, sun, bees, etc.) Genetic coding alone lays down everything substantial about NPC lifeforms.
