Ray Mabus was appointed as the 75th United States Secretary of the Navy by Barack Obama and currently lies 6th in the chain of command of the United States of America. Before his political career began in 1972, he served as a surface warfare office in the navy for two years on the USS Little Rock. Today he has around 900,000 troops and an annual budget in excess of US$150 billion at his disposal.
His venture into politics began in the late 1970´s when he worked as a legal counsel in Washington DC. He was elected into public office in 1983 and later became governor of Mississippi. During that time he was voted by Forbes magazine as one of the top 10 educations governors in the US – despite the system failing other than giving the teachers a pay rise.
There is something suspicious there, but then Mabus is not new to underhand tactics. His wife, Julie Hines, the daughter of a wealthy banker is suing him on corruption charges following a messy divorce in 2006 after he taped a confidential conversation with the priest so he could win custody of their two children.
But how does a man who seems to have little bad said about him other than from a bitter wife become the antichrist? The Bible predicts the antichrist will be a false prophet and Nostradamus hints at of an association with the Navy, although there is no direct link between the Navy and antichrist.

Century 9 Quatrain 100
The naval battle by night will be overcome,
Through fire in the ships for the West ruin.
With fresh red paint the great ship is coloured,
Anger to the vanquished and victory in the drizzle.
There is no real evidence to suggest that Ray Mabus is the antichrist other than is name, but even then, the exactness does not correspond with Nostradamus´ usual cryptic approach. As we saw with his codename for Napoleon who he called “PAUNAYLORDON” and his slight change of names with “Hister,” there is no disguising the name of Mabus with the Secretary General of the US Navy.
That´s not to say that Ray Mabus is not the Mabus in the quatrains of Nostradamus we have highlighted above. “Mabus soon dies,” and in Century 9 Quatrain 100 there is the reference to “fire in the ships for the West ruin,” suggesting the US Navy could be defeated. If that is the case then Mabus is not the antichrist that many scholars predict. Therefore dear reader, we must keep looking for suspects who could be the antichrist predicted by Nostradamus.
