Yes, more than we are led to believe

Kindness and compassion, the foundation of humanity!
 Quoting: xenophon

Maybe I wouldn't go that far.
 Quoting: Zer0Phi

Was more referring to the true nature of humanity, not the beast we see today

the quality of being humane; benevolence.

It's a fair way off but doable, one can dream
 Quoting: xenophon

I would say nature is the best scale for balance, but humans will have to change to get back to that place.
 Quoting: Zer0Phi

Yes, maybe we just need a new baseline

But now that we have had significant earthquake activity in Alaska on the north and south side, I do think it will split off the main land one day.

Plus the island of Alaska has a nice ring to it.

Australia was once part of North America.

I think Alaska will follow the same path.

I am planning for my ocean front Alaska property for the post pole flip world.

Massive solar flare to bring chaos, inflict $2 trillion in damage – bank's 'outrageous' prediction

Danish Saxo Bank, famous for making ‘outrageous’ predictions published each December, and not meant to be taken seriously, has once again astonished humanity with its annual forecast.

According to the Copenhagen-based financial institution, the upcoming year is set to be marked with X-Class solar flare that will evoke absolute chaos across the globe.

Although the bank's predictions are meant to be taken lightheartedly, Saxo Bank occasionally gets it right. Last year the Danish bank correctly predicted the collapse of Bitcoin.
