Massive solar flare to bring chaos, inflict $2 trillion in damage – bank's 'outrageous' prediction

Danish Saxo Bank, famous for making ‘outrageous’ predictions published each December, and not meant to be taken seriously, has once again astonished humanity with its annual forecast.

According to the Copenhagen-based financial institution, the upcoming year is set to be marked with X-Class solar flare that will evoke absolute chaos across the globe.

Although the bank's predictions are meant to be taken lightheartedly, Saxo Bank occasionally gets it right. Last year the Danish bank correctly predicted the collapse of Bitcoin.

Do you know if there are any stats on cme's or if anyone keeps track of them?

I say there will be many major fireworks in the next 12 months despite the solar minimum

Just a little plasma bump. It came in like a CME. Not likely to go into geomagnetic storm.

I don't know where the stats would be, but I am sure someone has them.

It's just that it's hard to count such things as we only tend to talk about the earth facing side of the sun in a time when we can watch it from different angles.

It's a lot easier to get a solar flare count because there is at least a way to quantify it by solar flare size.

Sure I do. But not every flare will have a CME, and not every CME will have a flare/sun spot.

The NOAA, and NASA CME prediction models both kinda suck.

The CME is the dangerous part, but we don't have the satellite network we need to track them in 4d space.

99% of the time the two are related, making solar flares a good enough indicator of earth directed danger.

What I am really trying to say is there is a meteor impact coming. Meteors contain a higher than normal content of iridium.

Yeah that seems like a lot. Maybe it was 22 ounces.

There is a thread about it.

It's funny because they considered it almost useless.

It's hard to turn into something useful for industrial purposes. You have to have an arc furnace or some fancy equipment to do so because it's not a reactive metal.

It's hard to work into Jewelry because it's too brittle I believe. It needs to be mixed with platinum.

Also with the human body you have to take platinum at the same time to increase the absorption rate.

Still I would like to have an iridium ring. If it must be muddled down my platinum, okay.

I miss my saint smiley I used for GLP healing.

I was thinking a ring for when I get married to Taylor Swift, but maybe I could get an ounce to play with.

I'll have to get some platinum too. And maybe a meteorite to inlay into it.
