I think it becomes problematic to try and personify god.
To do so places limitations on the entity.
That's not to say there are not godlike protectors.
It just helps to properly define what you expect from your god.
Quoting: Zer0Phi Gods as opposed to the God of everything. They could just be aspects of The God used also as archetypes. I prefer to see gods as spirits but see the other side too. Like how goddess and god are the first two aspects of the nameless in this universe I see god at the universe. Everything else is simply a part of god. It keeps it simple while still allowing infinite possibility. Do you expect anything from it? What more could I expect than what has already been given? It's already more beautiful than I have words for. A gift from god is a bit like a sign showing you that you're on the right path. Fun thing is there is no wrong path, just some are easier than others. This life experience is a choose your own adventure kind of story, and I didn't choose an easy path. But I'm still having a good time.
