They should do what they do over here with the Euromillions and award it to the next prize level after it rolls over so many times.

Spreading it out is better for the economy and makes more people happy.

I would return a Concorde to full flight capacity with that much at Mach 2.0+ speed.

I would entrust full aircraft upkeep to British Airways Engineering for the future making sure she is flown at air shows, in the UK exclusively together with Atlantic trial runs.

I'd award myself flying rights in trade for returning the aircraft to the skies. No one else than flight crews allowed on board.

Former Captains/pilots will be chosen as consultants and simulator training.

This would make a lot of people happy. Gigantic success guaranteed.

...wife and I were talking about what you do when you suddenly get fabulously "well to do"...hire lawyers and accountants...good ones. The vacations, toys and fun come later.

That lump sum is what you get as a cash payout you still have to pay taxes on that, lots of people don't understand that and is why most end up broke in a few years because they have no fucking idea how to invest that kind of money.

I don't give a damn what people try and tell you but taking the payment option is best, even if you lose everything for first 15 years until you learn how to save and invest it you'll still have 7 more years of money, and at around $160 million a year you'll have more than enough after taxes to do whatever you want. Remember that money grows while it's sitting waiting for each year's payment so you actually end up getting more than the 1.6 billion you won. Too many have taken the cash payout and within 10 years are in worse shape than before they won, also get a lawyer before claiming and do everything you can to make sure you keep your real name out of the process if possible, best is to make an LLC as the winner with you as the executor but hidden, if you let it known that you won everyone and their brother will hound you for money, and I mean everyone.!!!
