Maybe it was an emergency landing that was uneventful. Quoting: Georgia_dawg Mad Dog ..??.. :nose23l36: SCOTLAND FOREVER America is the Grand Experiment..Let us not Fail.. In this case, it was an MD-88 surrounded by lots of emergency vehicles. |
Georgia_dawg (OP) User ID: 73158603 ![]() 10/20/2018 07:43 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I work there. Quoting: GLPollack There is absolutely nothing out of the normal going on right now.. The fire department here is literally always moving trucks around. No doom.. sorry :) I appreciate your response. But I work out here, too. And this was not the typical several fire trucks out and about. There were multiple fire trucks positioned along almost every concourse. Hell, there were two in between our A/C and another A/C taxiing the other way at E. They had both planes stopped and the trucks were sandwiched between us. I’m thinking since they had trucks staged most of the length of the runway, they may have had a plane declare an emergency inbound to ATL. That way, trucks will be close by the plane no matter what part of the runway it is on. And just so you know, I didn’t call doom or wish for doom. You did. I just noticed this situation was out of the ordinary and was asking if anyone had any information. Last Edited by Georgia_dawg on 10/20/2018 07:45 PM |
