Europe has survived WW1, WW2 and Cold War.

In the past, I would travel to Europe several times a week.

Now, I would refuse any opportunity. I did see the decline. I have many coworkers who feel the same. Many still working will trade and bid down those trips in exchange for trans-con and trans-Pacific runs. Some, with seniority, will refuse the runs.

I loved it and was enraptured with it, in it's time.

I will give some of the Eastern bloc countries credit for standing up and fighting the good fight and they have my total respect. Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Russia even.

The rest have lost it and it's game over. Fact.

Even with a best case scenario, there would be absolutely no way to recover and restore the greatness that was. Never.
