In all fairness they are spread out and have the luxury of a few hundred meters of open ground. This border issue is gonna be everyone bunched up against the border with all the mums n kids having being pushed up to the front as emotional leverage and for the heartstrings pics etc. What lies behind is all the filth but they don't make good politics. They need to keep them back from the actual border cos as much as Pompeo says they will not be coming in, when the kids are begging and crying at the fence public opinion will influence stuff as usual, that and it didn't stop 12000 plus already in the last month.
