Hurricane = Northern Hemisphere in Atlantic Ocean and Pacific Ocean East of the International Dateline.
Typhoon = Northern Hemisphere in Pacific Ocean West of the International Dateline.
Cyclone = Southern Hemisphere.

Looks like a lovely place to live.

In case you didn't know the history of Saipan towards the end of WW2. Thousands of Japanese women jumped to their deaths (some holding their children) on "Bonzai Cliff". After watching this video, let me know if you still think it's a lovely place.

WC just did a spot on this and talked to people that rode it out.
It went from a TS to Cat 5 in 2 days , this is worse than what what we know yet. Many people are there for an Iron Man Event
