This is why we need a loud, clear public conversation about liberals and conservatives, about liberalism and conservatism, about left and right.

When Congress held a hearing a few months ago about censorship and banning occurring at businesses like Youtube, Facebook and Twitter - which included appearances by Diamond and Silk - the words "liberal/conservative/leftwing/rightwing" rarely or never came up. Why?

If most people think talking about a person's liberalism or conservatism is similar to talking about bad breath or body odor - or farting in public - that's analgous to talking about why a car isn't running and ignoring the fact it may have three flat tires---or no logic, no honesty, no ethics.

It won't be caring, compassionate and "I feel your pain" if that car can't be driven to help people in an emergency.

Such a car could be named the Ford San Francisco or the Toyota Venezuela/Mexico/Brazil. Or the Honda EU-Europe. Or the Chevrolet Detroit/Baltimore/Chicago/urban USA.
