I'm sorry to hear what you are going through, no woman deserves that type of abuse. My wife is younger, 13 years, but we're both in great shape and neither of us have ever disrespected each other or raised our voices to each other. It boils down to respect and of course love, I honestly can't imagine raising my voice to my wife under any circumstances. I do understand what you are going through though because I went through the same thing in reverse with my ex-wife.
