You're right. The father needed to be smart and plan the attack far enough out in the future so as not to draw too much attention to himself.

With some specialized training the teacher could be "disappeared" relatively easy.

How did the teacher come across the student's cellphone number? Because you lean on one side immediately it limits you from understanding the perspective of the question.

If it was in the US, depending on the state, under 17 ish there is co consensual sex.
