Please help, I just got bitten by a spider and it's like 10 bee stings!!!!!

hubby got bit by a recluse, waited over a week and finally went to hospital beause it NEVER got any better.
the nurse said she was so proud he came in because most MEN wont.
if he had waited ONE MORE DAY he wouldve died she said.
hes really nervous about spiders now and kills every damn one he sees.
i just throw them outside but hes on a mission now until the end of time it seems like.

had a spider bite once couple years ago out of desperation treated it like jelly fish sting and put vineger and corn starch mix into a paste and held it in place with band aid. It will hurt like "OH MY" bring tears to your eyes and you will have to do it for several days till it is gone but you will see a difference with in a day.

Benadryl NOW. Max dose allowed. Then get to a doctor.
It does sound like a brown recluse spider. That's bad news.
Seek medical attention ASAP.

It's not a brown recluse..their venom is slow acting.

I took two tablespoons of tumeric spice in some broccoli cheese packet of rice a roni to hide the taste

The wife is up now and well be going to the hospital. Shes saying go to the doc in a box. My copay at the hospital is 250. Doc in a box is 50. But I've never received good care in one of those places.

Bee sting anti-sting contains Ammonia.

You can get straight Ammonia at the grocery store/dollar store etc.

Its safe to put on your skin, is absorbed through skin (to get to the venom), and it dissolves oils.

Try putting some on a tissue and holding it against the bite.

Got bit by a white tailed spider in Oz on the leg, problem lasted years with flesh dying around the bite....even after medication.....a real bitch

It was to dark for me to tell exactly what it was. But it was in my shoe and stung like 10 Hornets. I smashed the thig to peacees. I thought it was an ant at first.

A brown recluse does not do this....the damage from a Brown Recluse comes from the slow destruction of healthy tissue. Initially a Brown Recluse bite will seem like nothing...it is as it real destructive power becomes evident a day or two later when you begin to realize the damage that was done.

If you Google their bite you can find photos or video of the progression of their destructive power...it's not pretty if left untreated.

If that bite gets worse, like radiating to your calf as Brief stated, go to the doc. My sis got hit by one and had the scar to prove it for years. Hand sized region of tissue that started rotting on her leg.
