I voted yesterday. The vast majority of political people in the parking lot handing out literature on their candidates was Republican.There was one fat blue haired chick sitting in a lawn chair wearing a resist tshirt, asking me to vote for Beto. The ratio was easily 100:1.

in San Antonio i dont know if anyone is aware but i caught it a couple of days ago. - either KSAT 12 or Kens 5 was saying that a (D) rep. in San Antonio was complaining about police presence at the or near the polls and police have been FORBIDDEN to be near the polls on Election day. they totally caved becuase one guy a (D) state rep. COMPLAINED.... justin something or other is his name. hes a hispanic rep. and if i am not mistaken MY district....

I live in Oregon on the red side. We get paper ballots 2-3 weeks ahead of the election. We can mail them or drop off at the ballot box anytime. We waited till today and hand delivered. Too bad we all do not have this opportunity. Go vote!!

I wish this were for every state, as well. So much easier than going to a polling place, no concern about who owns or services or monkeys with voting machines, or weather, or harrassment or anything else. Just mail or drop off - and any day, not just one day.

Have you seen any statistics about the per centage of people voting via mail as opposed to the former way? I have not, but suddenly became interested. :)
