She believes her area is near the New Madrid Fault line. This fault zone is six times larger than the San Andreas fault zone in California and it covers portions of Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Arkansas, Kentucky, Tennessee and Mississippi. No one on GLP is from Mississippi? Really?

We will have room for 2 way barges and floating casino! (?) Edit: Camp Shelby is just south of Hattiesburg. That is where the Army’s tank training is. I’m in Wiggins and hear the tanks all the time. Big booms.

I agree. Right now there is much more chance of it being that. I guess you don't actually know that the New Madrid is NOT a "fault line" - it is a "rift zone". There are lots of fingers/small fault lines in the area... but not ONE BIG FAULT. So... I don't think it can be "set off". LOL
