i have seen that here in San Antonio. Anywhere you have a large homeless population without access to medical care your going to start seeing it. certain types of bacteria can eat away at the flesh if not properly treated. a woman i used to work with showed me her leg when we bumped into each other again. she hurt it in a way that caused a gash in her leg. she couldnt afford to have it treated ( she does have a job by the way)so she left it open but covered with gauze when she works to keep it from oozing and bleeding while shes working. i have seen it on homeless too. it smells awful, like gangrene if you can distinguish between bad Body odor and Gangrene.

I was stationed near there around 1982, I seen the hippy culture run off by high end developers taking all their low rent crap holes and dozing them down for condo's. But the aimless just moved to the streets. But then again I have to remember that this is actually all big cities.

Druggies make everything dirty everywhere - because these people go on city buses , public libraries, parks where children play, grocr8es stores where they pick up items put them down or return them etc., the dumpsters etc.

Then into the hospitals to be seen.

Those germs are all over.

This is every crack head in Hollywood, FL. I have to wear long sleeves at night walking down the sidewalks because they just come out and grab your arm for a couple dollars.

Syphilis..??..Extreme Diabetes..But..I'm going with Drugs or Drug related problems compounded by Others..Needs more Investigation of other like Symptoms in that Given area..

People who have homes have more shielding as those who live outside.

And if you're not bathing regularly or washing your clothes then bacteria and germs breed.

It's not lack of access to medical care that is the CAUSE. It's lack of sanitation.

That young girl in the OP video is so sad! She's cute, well spoken, polite and so obviously completely fucked up. Makes me wonder what happened in her life to get her to where she is now.

I think we all have this idea that MRSA is stronger than other germs. It isn't really stronger, just smart to the antibiotics.

If you are a homeless person with an infection and no medicine ...MRSA will kill you as fast as anything else.

Dumber germs would be easier to clean up with an over-the-counter anti-bacterial ointment. But do they even have access to that?

MRSA is rampant with the LA homeless and that girl's sores look like MRSA (look in google images). Is MRSA a staph infection? She mentioned she's had brain surgery for a staph infection!!!

Ok I watched the whole video and she has been going on and off antibiotics. And so yes, now I do agree, MRSA...
