It was a tragic accident that could have been prevented, but I don't believe the woman ever "intended" to harm her child and was panicked due to the situation. It seems like she was trying to get them both out of danger and made a fatal decision, but under the circumstances I am surprised she was charged. Maybe she didn't realize it was barricaded for their safety, when someone is facing a life and death situation they aren't always thinking clearly.

Quoting: Saint Kitty People have to realize it was also dark out and that barricade didn't even look like a barricade. Two officers in SC did the same thing and killed two inmates. But they knew that there was barricade and they chose to drive around it. She is not the only one that did it and she won't be the last person who does it.
