Try to take it easy the majority of these people have been lied too. So when you talk be more expressing where they become interested in what you say don't attack but make the curious by saying something that will make them look into something rather than going straight at them because then they get defensive and start going against you. Show them that there is more going on then what they think. without being hostile.

I live in portland oregon. I have to deal with stupid Trump jokes and crazy talk all day. People talking bad nonstop. I just smile and nod and ignore. If I said I was a Trump supporter, I would be attacked by the people I work with and then most likely fired for causing an issue at work. People try to bait me all the time so they can see where I stand. I just pretend I dont care about politics at all. I just tell them im too busy to worry about any of that. There is no use trying to reason with people on why I believe what I believe. Maybe im good at this because of all the years of being a glper at home and never talking about it outside. Lol

Yes my work involves socializing because its based on contract and networking is how you get contracts .In general I don't get close to work people but I feel compulsivly compelled to defend when someone slanders a politician who is doing everything he can to do whats right for his country. "Do the greater good" is coming before "feed yourself first" though. This is the issue.

OP,you are taking politics way to seriously. People shouldn't let the radical left or right affect their life. As we all have seen life goes on no matter which side is in power.

I consider the motivations of the sources before I make a decision, I examine evidence for conflicts of interests, and I see how those same decisions have played out in other places in history. I work to understand human motivation and I pay attention to consequences of actions. Everything happening has already happened many times over. Everything has a cause and effect, an action and a reaction, a behaviour and consequence. These things become predictable once you start paying attention. Problem with liberals is that they haven't payed attention.

Saying " because you say so " is a typical assumption from liberals because this is how they think. Thier opinions have little factual basis. Its all an emotional "Im right and you are wrong" kind of rhetoric and its all based on emotional baggage and personal experiences. Eg" let the single mom with 5 criminal children into the country because I know how it feels to be a single mom. Therefore single mom is me and I am being victimized. Logic of the consequence goes right out the door. She is not you, wake up from the fantasy to vicariously validate the pain and suffering you endured during your own life as a single mom.
