Try to take it easy the majority of these people have been lied too. So when you talk be more expressing where they become interested in what you say don't attack but make the curious by saying something that will make them look into something rather than going straight at them because then they get defensive and start going against you. Show them that there is more going on then what they think. without being hostile.

I live in portland oregon. I have to deal with stupid Trump jokes and crazy talk all day. People talking bad nonstop. I just smile and nod and ignore. If I said I was a Trump supporter, I would be attacked by the people I work with and then most likely fired for causing an issue at work. People try to bait me all the time so they can see where I stand. I just pretend I dont care about politics at all. I just tell them im too busy to worry about any of that. There is no use trying to reason with people on why I believe what I believe. Maybe im good at this because of all the years of being a glper at home and never talking about it outside. Lol

The very notion that you socialize/communicate/chat/get to know/etc your coworkers is going to get you into trouble. These people are literal NPCs lol just ignore them. They aren't real. They aren't awake. They aren't conscious.
If you want to get ahead in life or business don't have human conversations with people. You're only there to work and get PAID.
Unless you're work involves socializing or you're paid to socialize you'd better fucking stop right now. YOU DON'T NEED TO TALK TO YOUR COWORKES ABOUT THEIR LIVES OR FEELINGS OR HOBBIES OR SPORTS/etc.
