Sorry, but I don't know anything about Oman. Do they regularly have like "monsoon season"? Or is this something that has never been seen before?

That isn't the only place OP. There are abandoned cities in Asia and Africa with dried up rivers beside them that are being refilled.

10,000 years ago we were comparable to Antarctica. Covered with glaciers and ice.

Oman floods pretty frequently considering its a desert. Once every few years. They get cyclones there.

Happened earlier this year in May also. There was a massive one back in 2007.

In the desert the ground is very hard and when it rains it doesn't get soaked up into the earth.

Same thing happens here in Las Vegas when we get rain.

Not the first time it's happened in Oman, and probably not the last, have to remember Oman is classified as a "semi-desert" half costal half desert.

this is from a typhoon that hit Oman. Not climate change. Same thing happened a several years before.

All areas in the middle east are flooding except isreal...this is not normal...we are entering a 400 year cycle if you don't believe it now then you probably will when you can't buy food within a year.

Not true. Israel experiences the same thing. They had flash floods last year at the same time as Syria.

Flash floods are a desert phenomena. Everybody in Israel is aware of the danger. If you see a torrent sweeping across a roadbed, you do not know if you can drive through it or if the road beneath it has been washed away completely.

Oman is a big country. Huge piece of land.
There's lots of agriculture. Look up Nizwa.
Omanis are nice. They allow every religion there.

A rare waterspout has been captured swirling off the coast of Ras Al Khaimah.

The spiral of air and water was spotted less than 1,000 metres off the coast at Khor Khwair.
