Florida Patient Went in for Standard Back Surgery - Awakes One Kidney Short
[link to www.kansas.com (secure)]

According to a complaint filed in December by the Florida Department of Health against Dr. Ramon Vazquez, a West Palm Beach doctor, Vazquez unnecessarily removed her pelvic kidney from her left side.

Vazquez, according to the complaint, “noted a pelvic mass and provided a presumptive diagnosis of a gynecologic malignancy, lymphoma,and/or other metastatic disease.”

He proceeded to remove the “mass” in its entirety, without a preliminary biopsy to determine malignancy. But the mass wasn’t a mass —it was Pacheco’s kidney.

And Vazquez wasn’t even her surgeon.

WTF!! Why would he remove something before checking to even see if it's cancerous? I didn't think they were supposed to just remove things, even tumors, without the patients knowledge.

Gotta love how the hospital was quick to say that he didn't work for them. Didn't any of the surgical nurses know he wasn't supposed to be there? They work for the hospital.Surely, someone should have said something!

“The case was settled on his behalf for a nominal amount due to the uncertainty of litigation and in no way did Dr. Vazquez admit liability by agreeing to this settlement,” Vazquez’s attorney Mark Mittelmark said in an email. Vazquez does not carry malpractice insurance, according to the Health Department.

The malpractice insurers for her primary surgeons, Dr. John Britt and Dr. Jeffrey Kugler, settled for $250,000 apiece, according to the Department of Insurance Regulation..."

So from that article, it says he got a nominal amount?? What uncertainty of litigation? There's no denying he took the kidney out without proper procedure. It's his own fault he didn't have insurance. He should've taken him for everything he owns!

He got $500,000 from the insurance of the other doctors. They didn't do anything wrong, or did they know he was removng the "mass"?

The entire medical system is built on pseudo-science & fraud.

The schools invent these fantastic theories (such as 'receptor binding' -- an utterly unprovable fraud based on a whackos human battery theory from the 1800s), test them on a few rats (with a very low success rate), then claim to have solved the problem for humans.

NO Surgery, or Pharma Pill is 'standard'. DON'T ever fall into the trap of believing that lie.

This, coupled with a massive bureaucracy, and 'health insurance' (a concept hither unknown to humanity before a few score years ago), in which they are literally placing bets on your health, and further enriching themselves at your expense by keeping you permanently ill through poisoned foods, shitty air, a toxic psychological environment, junk science, etc.

Then, the schools are handing diplomas to these even more unqualified, affirmative action 'Doctors' who can barely count to 10 - because they're 1/1024 Native American.

It's all bullshit, trust none of them.

Uhhhh.....palm beach area....home to other millionaires and billionaires besides our dear president ...dr had an unblemished record prior to this....surgical privileges at other major hospitals in the area....I really don't think this was an accident...if I was a real journalist working this story I would look for any records of subsequent kidney transplants or other surgeries immediately after this one performed by this doctor... or at the very least...kidney transplants in the area....this was 2016 btw, so some time has elapsed for all involved to cover their tracks....sad and frightening...
