Paul's Epistles are not THUS SAITH THE LORD Bible verses

Lets pre-empt church peoples so called self righteousness when they state that all scripture is of God. They think their declaration that all the Protestant Bible of 1850 is the pure WORD of God, makes them PURE BELIEVERS, even though every Protestant Denomination almost to the letter, states the same thing.

Ohhh. the church people are not going to like this truth... as it strips away their pride.

They dont serve the Lord, they arent missionaries and few have been, but they think just because they state.. I BELIEVE THE WORD OF GOD..declaration makes them holy.

Yet if they do believe then why in heaven did they not serve the Lord from slavation onward til their future death in being missionaries...as that is what the WORD says we are suppose to do if we love Jesus and love others, who need Jesus..like we need JESUS

Hence the biggest problem with Paul is that people have taken his word and opinions as the WORD OF GOD, and made them church LAW.

You cant evade, his wishy washy approach to salvation as sometimes being by grace and sometimes by being because of obediance to the law and WORKS. Paul was confusing which confuses readers and ensures church people can retain holiness as their means of deserving salvation, rather than totally being the gift of GOD because of CHRIST.

You can,t evade, Pauls disdain for women, and his inequalities when it comes to the genders. Its archaic teaching that modern people or thinkers or real people instantly reject. Pauls enuch philosophy as the ultimate also is totally bogus and easy to reject... so that this gives readers cause to reject Jesus when they reject Paul's words.

Forget the Ten Commandments, they are a good basic LAW that the religionists and the Jews easily try to evade and get around....which is why Jesus barked at the scribes and pharisees (religionists).. with His CLASSIC...Thou hast heard it has been said.... Jesus gets the credit for fulfllling the LAW, not us. Jesus gives the grace and love literally, spiritually and every other way.

Following Pauls epistles does not fulfill the law, but sets up more laws... church laws that help control and bind church people from obeying, and simply thinking about their image... and self righteousness.

Of course He did, the 10 commandments were proven not to be able to be fulfilled by the religionists, as even they disobeyed them.

Paul was a proto-Valentinian gnostic and that is reflected in his views he laid in his letters.
His church was built on Pmeumatic spiritual) leadership, Pneumatic - addressed as spirit based , saints, chosen, sometimes Gentiles, Males (Men) and Psychic - soul based, called, sometimes Jews, Female (women). Pneumatic had connection with One True God and Psychics saw Demiurge (Creation, Creature) as their god as the were "spiritually discerned" (1 Cor 2: 14-15). I agree with OP. Trying to be saved by following the law will only lead to guilt and defeat. You must first be saved by grace, then the indwelling Holy Spirit changes you from within.
Three years after I was saved, I lead my best girlfriend and old lover to the Lord. She has been saved for nearly 40 years, happily married with grown children. Her family do not know the truth about us. I loved her as much as I loved any man. If I had approached her about Jesus and conveyed any guilt or shame for our love, she never would have believed me. She did believe me and wanted the kind of love I told her about and prayed. She got water dunked and later the gift of tongues, like a whole lot of us old hippies did in the 70's. There was quite a revival at the time, and not because of a list of rules. I'm telling you here that she and I were both changed from within. It is Love that draws you and the Holy Spirit that changes you.
Paul's letters are not scripture. They are wonderful to read, but as a sister, not a follower. Most of what is written in them were his opinions.
After all these years I have fallen in love with the law, but only because I stubbornly learned it the hard way. The Holy Spirit is patient.
