Our solar system is plunging through a galaxy cannibalised by the Milky Way, raising the prospects for detection of its dark matter remains.

interesting reading through this thread again. So much has ... transpired in the two years I was out of the Loop. Started lurking again back in June. Had some experiences was prevalent in my thoughts. Like a timeline adjustment Jan 18th this year. In the time it took to blink, went from a two lane road with a green light that was more than sufficiently clear of traffic, that on the other side of that blink there were a line of cars stopped at the light and clouds in the sky where there were none... Very strange experience. And a few others as well.
