Re: Have any questions about Skull and Bones?
Who were the most wicked members of skulls and bones in your opinion that you've met?
 Quoting: andymiller

I'm not allowed to name them, mainly because they carry my "family" name.

But, maybe that's just because I know them more than the others. Maybe when you know someone's secrets, they're all that bad.

There were a lot of money men in the group who were essentially Satan, but they were in it for profit, not sadistic glee. What they caused wasn't great, but it wasn't driven by a specific need to wreck the world, just by greed, and sometimes that greed required wrecking life for everyone else.

However, the one I'm thinking about was in it for profit AND sadistic glee. Screwed up combination.
 Quoting: TlvmmCpoft

I can understand, not naming names, nor would I expect you too

It's the sadistic ones in particular that are troublesome to me personally, and really should be to insiders as well, family or no

They're what you could call loose cannons

Eventually, they will destroy everything, including themselves and those closest to them

Having them in positions of power causes serious problems, and can even jeopardize the future or 'work', though I'm sure you already know this

Thanks again for the thread :)

They're driven, and groups like that put a high value on being driven. That or they get mowed under like the rest of us.

It's been an interesting subject to discuss. I was pretty sure answering questions about it was going to be like having needles jammed under my fingernails.

Not sure the Donovans or Mahoneys were. They were just a long line of corrupt politicians from Ireland.

Not everyone in a coalition needs to come from the same source to have a shared goal. Sometimes, they share the loot.

That said, I believe the older display of skulls was brought from Germany, although most likely closer to the time the society was established in the early 1800s, rather than when the SS was officially established in the early 1900s.

On the surface, they have Scroll and Key and Wolf's Head, but there was at least some civil business going on among the three. I wouldn't consider the rivalry any more serious that opposing collegiate football teams. Although, I could be wrong.

Skull and Bones is above political affiliations for the most part. They own the spread.
Members in the group I got stuck tagging along with were essentially given "horses" (politicians) to keep control of, and those ran the gambit - Republican, Democrat, Independents, etc. I got the feeling those who had more power and money were given Dems and Republicans to run, while the more annoying members got the independents - group hierarchy stuff. Republicans may have had slightly more control of themselves in some cases (Bush Sr) but that may be a personality thing. Some people are harder to ride.

I nearly lost my mind when it looked like Bernie might have a chance because I knew who was running him and how screwed up their methods are, and if you think the world has been bad, you don't even know how much worse it would have gotten.

Great thread. I’m curious about occult influences. Checkerboard floors in the building? Images similar to tarot cards? Odd statues? You’ve mentioned the drugging of members. Do you know which drugs, and are they used as an attempt to raise conscious awareness? Any occult ceremonies? Attempts at channeling?

I genuinely can't remember if we spent time in a coffin. I was drugged out of my mind for half of the ceremonies.

They do follow a lot of ritual, though. Even business is expected to have certain ritual aspects attached to be official.

My only real experience with religion has been Catholic school and the church they'd make students go to, and a lot of it significantly reminded me of that - the incense, chanting in unison, walking in order, having a "master of ceremonies" reminiscent of a priest, etc. It was like a more darkly lit church experience.
 Quoting: TlvmmCpoft

I see, yea it doesn't surprise me about all the ceremonial procedure

Definitely a lot of that in Catholicism as well, seeing how its roots are in ancient Rome, it is also not surprising :)

Isn't 322 them also ? As in March 22nd, or..
 Quoting: Centurionx

Yeah, for the longest time I thought 322 was the street address, but its 60something. I obviously knew where the building was physically located. I just thought 322 was the address.
 Quoting: TlvmmCpoft

Interesting, was born on the 23rd of March myself

Something about S&B reminds me so much of certain aspects of freemasonry

As if they're based on the same ancient sources, parts of it anyway

That totally jibes with my belief system. Humanity will be destroyed by uncontrolled, inept self-service, not intentional evil to serve evil. I do believe there are those who desire evil for evil's sake, I just think that those with real power are only interested in gaining more and cementing it for their progeny, ends justifying any means. But wait, is that the definition of evil? I don't know.

 Quoting: jamesd1628

It was one of the few places where I was usually wrapped up enough in what was going on that I wasn't counting tiles. The front hall may have had checkers...I'll have to try to remember.

There were a few symbolic pieces placed here and there.
The items I remember the most were from one of the ceremonies. And yes, we literally wore floor-length robes. There was a giant swinging gold incense burner...
a little like what this cute little guy has pope but bigger and more gaudy. There were staffs that were like knights' long sticks. We had books nearly as old and ancient as time (okay, maybe only a few hundred years old).

In the main skull display there were so many more items than what any artist's rendition has shown. A telescope, a bunch of gold items, a globe, a book that held a manifest - like a ship's manifest, more.

There was another seriously thick book that was signed at initiation, a knife that was present during that ceremony.

No idea about raising awareness. I saw it all through an atheist's eye - to me it was just another ritual to get through like a graduation ceremony or a wedding. I wasn't alone in that thinking.

The drugging knocked me the hell out, so I assume it did the same for everyone else at the table. There were maybe 22 people at the table that day. I was led away into the library. I have no idea where everyone else ended up. Tampering with the desserts was done by older members. I caught them in the act before dinner, being an idiot I didn't let that stop me from eating.

I've never been hidden and I treat everyone equally, spooky or not.

Even back in the day at Yale I was the "low hanging fruit," the one real conspiracy theorists would hunt down and try to get information from before the internet, because I was just a kid, rarely had a body guard, was spotted going in and out of S&B, and was wandering around high out of my mind half the time, whether it was of my own doing or not, depending on the day. I was accessible. Still am.
