LOL I think Trump played everyone

I don't think he wanted GOP to win the House because the way it was setup was basically enough wolves in sheep clothing to block almost everything he wanted to do that required a House vote anyways.

Now he has dangled a carrot in front of Nancy about defending her position as Speaker by 'providing her enough votes' from GOP reps to keep it if she's threatened by her party so that she is now actively dealing with him and being managed.

So as far as his policy implementation goes, things really couldn't have gotten any worse than they already are now with the House.

And the only real downside is all the subpoena bullshit and investigations they will try to do. But I get the feeling Trump has a plan for all of that because as he said at the press conf, he knows a lot more about them than they do about him. wink wink

And you know even though he's said there are 'just too many' House races to campaign for them, he could have easily done it for the few dozen super close races that could have swung it the GOP's way, but decided not to.

I'm not saying any 5D chess BS here, but I do think Trump is so much smarter than people think he is because of the way he speaks like a brash New Yorker.
