I half wash my dishes before I put them in, old habit. When others load my dishwasher they barely rinse them off and I am like NO WAY that's coming out clean but it does...I have an old Amana though. I think there's something wrong with your dishwasher. |

The Miele’s even heat their own water and can be plumbed to cold water only for their inlet water and then they heat it to the needed temp for the load. The key to getting modern dishwashers to work is high temp water either produced on their own or supplied from your tank. If the water at your sink takes forever to get hot, then put a circulating pump on your hot water system or buy a Miele and set your hot water heater up to 150 degrees. Life really is a banquet - and truly - most poor sucker are starving! Enjoy the ride baby. |

We're going to have to get a new one soon, not sure I'm looking forward to it. Got a new washing machine after about 14 years, make noises I've never heard come from a washer (they say that's "normal"), concerned about what the new dishwasher will offer...ahhh, "progress". |

After a dinner party for twelve it's convenient. The rest of the time it's just stupid. It stores dirty dishes while you wait for it to be full enough to run, and it's easier to wash dishes in the sink that break your back loading and unloading a matching placing dishes shin height. They break a lot too. Probably it's not the design but the psychic energy of all the loathing they absorb. If I had a dream kitchen I would have a countertop dishwasher like restaurants have with an overhead sprayer. The usual house kind is for shit. |

I agree with this! I bought a new clothes washer about 5 years ago and didn't know it was that kind that used less water. I can't even use pods in this washer or it will smell later. I figured this out not long after buying it because I have an extremely good sense of smell (not a good thing) and I smelled a stinky fishy smell and found it was the washer. I have to use very little soap or I get that stinky smell with my washer. |

I got frustrated with dirty dishes and got an expensive dishwasher. DON'T DO THIS Finally, I gave in AND WASH MY DISHES BY HAND cut to the chase, man! I really, really don't think it takes longer!!!!! And you can have beautiful things! You can go to the yard sales and buy other peoples beautiful things they never used because they... HAD A DISHWASHER! (real china, real crystal) OMG use the dishwasher to store stuff in! and wash your own dishes by hand! THIS IS MY ADVICE!!! (btw, there are tricks to making dishwashing easier) You're welcome. It self filters as well with food disposal. 10 year warranty. Stainless steel tub great rack set up and basket option. It has been a very good washer and choice it was $549.00 marked down to $494.10 not including tax. It was a Maytag I like it. But then again, I'll cut a 2x4 with a hand saw, and that just horrifies some people. Ha! Yea I do not use electric can openers or blenders/mixers any of that. Not because I can't buy it but because I do not need it and prefer the simple way,My hand lol. A dishwasher is a thing I definitely need.Never had one and I HATE to wash dishes. It is a self diagnosis of having to stand still lol and get wet with water but not from pleasure.I LOVE to cook though. |

They DO NOT AGITAE and get anything clean.Whoever came up with that should have to use a damn old fashioned wash board forever lol.I have had several "HIGH EFFECIENTcY"washers brand new and sent that pos back. They take FOREVER to complete a cycle and the meter keeps running.I want a washer that makes the windows vibrate when it spins the fuck out and even tries to move an inch across the floor and sounds like a BlackHawk incoming lol. That said, a good dishwasher will get the water to the right temperature to actually kill bad things. I believe the temperature needs to get up to 155 to 160 F or so. So, hotter than you can get with washing by hand, if you care if things are sterilized or not. |

Never had a problem with it. My local appliance repair store told me to hang onto it until it’s ready for the junkyard. No new appliances would ever approach that performance. Not a surprise, but pretty unfortunate. Optimistic realist |
