I’m in Northern ca. The skies are filled with smoke. The headline on the local weekly is “the smell of the apocalypse”, came out weds, before the fires. I remember seeing the pic of the White House with a rainbow over it on Election Day but being reminded of the verses in Genesis Peter that the rainbow is a promise the world will not be destroyed again by water but that the day of judgment will be by fire
