You know far more than, then. We must be watching different programs. I refuse to jump to conclusions. That's created great rifts in our country that we absolutely have to heal somehow.

Correct, there will be mutual aid pacts between neighboring departments. My SRT trained with numerous other neighboring city teams, as well as the State Police team, for just such situations. We were even the primary tactical unit for a couple of neighboring small towns that couldn’t afford their own team.

Is the victim outside wearing reflective square or? If so - that could be security guard - who would wear a reflective thingy - but unsure - hard to see, but something near that victim is reflective as in "SECURITY" would have??

The FBI undoubtedly has a presence there, as well.

I have been trying to stomach the "witnesses" on the ABC live feed...I couldn't help but roll my eyes at the b.s. spilling out of their mouths. From the bartender who was pretending to sob as his eyes were dry as heck and then one witness talking about hearing 12 popping sounds from a shooter with a handgun. Oh and he said it was "like a 44 or something like that"....umm ok? Suuuure buddy. They ALL feel like actors playing a role. NOT a real scene........could be just me. Then again my bullshit meter is going nuts....

How can they be letting first responders into the building, when it still is considered "active shooter"?

Makes me wonder if police have already shot him, or what's going on.

The witness statements are conflicting. Two people said he had a pistol, one said it was a semi-auto rifle, and one said it was some kind of submachine gun with a large magazine.

Early reports also said it was some form of long gun. Maybe he had put it down when they started seeing a hand gun?

Witness saying only 2 police officers there for 10 minutes

Many tactical units will have tactical medics embedded, who will make entry with the team so they can triage the most serious victims. And that building seems large enough to be able secure a big enough beachhead, where victims can be retrieved, even if a threat is still active in another part of the building.

Sounds like shooter had multiple weapons

White or Hispanic, wearing a trench coat.
