Blacks make up more than half of the violent crime rate in this country, while only being something like 15% of the population. Those violent crimes happen in a handful of cities. Random or not, one group is killing at alarmingly higher numbers, and another is being labelled as terrorists. Killing sprees and horrific violence is only horrible if you are white and doing it at a fraction of the rate of others I suppose. Black boys kill each other selling drugs. Where does the average 17 year old black kid get that heroin, by the way? Does his family fly to Afghanistan, plant and grow 10 hectares of poppies, hire 100 locals to process it into heroin while our Army kids guard the process, and then fly it at their own expense to Cuba, load it onto 'fishing boats,' guard the boats with TEX planes as they sneak into Florida, where that family then distributes it nationwide to drop-off points where older men then deliver it to the 17 year old black boy? I don't mean to come off like a huge dick here, and I'm not disputing anything in your second paragraph, but you don't know what the fuck you are talking about. If you think Black kids are only killing each other over drugs, you are perpetuating a serious problem you seem to genuinely be concerned with fixing (I am in no way faulting you for that btw). Furthermore, if Black kids are killing over drugs introduced by an outside force, and that absolves them of some responsibility for their actions, how does a Marine with PTSD not qualify for this same "outside influence" kid glove treatment?
