I didn't say it, the guy who posted the pic said it. I expressed skepticism over the "lens flare" ending in the smoke. Sheesh, don't be so kneejerk with the reactions and pay closer attention what's actually posted. As a professional photographer. That is no lens flare. Same as I thought. I looked at lots of pics of daytime lens flares and even the ones that are beam-like look nothing like that. That twitter account that posted the pic is some .gov agency so I would expect them to try to brush it off. Surprised they didn't delete the post. Since they didn't, another possibility is someone posting to that account is trying to get the word out that something suspicious is going on and by claiming "lens flare", which is ridiculous and like "swamp gas", maybe they hoped that would cause others to dig deeper.
