I see where the Camp Fire is now burning UP THE FEATHER RIVER:

Look at the area just NW of L Tahoe.

The red dots indicate recent substantial heat.

Yellow older. Much of the yellow here is where the really bad stuff happened in and near Paradise.

I jumped three fires in the Feather River drainage back in the day.

I suspect that work is now going to be corrected.

What has happened is the Santa Anas (North winds actually here) have died and the fire is moving in a different direction.
