Thank you.. but after 2 OTHER county Police (Sonoma and Alhandra) called me yesterday (Butte county NEVER called me this entire time and shoves me off) they found remains and I did a swab :(

My mother is dead and she just needed authority to tell her.

PG&E shares continue to tank on fears insurance won’t cover losses

PG&E stock continues to tumble, falling another 27 percent Thursday as concerns mount that the electric company may not be able to cover the possible $13 billion in losses from the worst wildfire in California’s history.

What’s more, PG&E is already facing liabilities from wildfires in California from 2017 that destroyed more than 240,000 acres. According to a regulatory filing from earlier this month, state investigators have linked PG&E’s equipment to about 17 fires.

That's odd because California passed legislation to not hold utilities liable but to pass stuff like this on to the consumers. Public risk (understatement) for private (shareholder) profit. Betcha California public workers pension funds are heavily invested in PG&E.

In the vid Napolitano says as a public utility PG&E are backed up by the state. This means that they aren't instructed to have insurance which would cover a large scale catastrophe such as this. PG&E will exhaust their funds/assets for the liability payments, but that won't amount won't be nearly enough. It would then be up to the state to compensate victims, but there's a question mark about whether California will do this. Many folks could be left with only a fraction of the compensation that they deserve.

Camp Fire evacuees asked to leave Chico Walmart tent city

CHICO — Hundreds of people displaced by the Camp Fire camping outside of the Chico Walmart are being asked to leave by Sunday — and many of them are unsure of where they will go next.

As news spread throughout the camp on Thursday, there was confusion about who exactly had given the order to get people out.

Chicoan Luigi Balsamo, who identified himself as one of the organizers of the operation, said it was the Red Cross.

People need to tell the Red Cross and their minions to get fucked. My friend, a nurse in Chico working with evacuees, said the Red Cross has been worthless. This is beyond that, it's evil.

Wow, my heart goes out to all those people who've lost everything, especially the Seniors. What do they do now? They don't have the energy or enthusiasm to start all over again. May God help them & comfort & guide them in their hour of need.

Yea, I know how you feel. I'm in BC, in a valley & this Summer we were seriously smoked out for the whole Summer. We were advised to stay indoors because the smoke was so thick. And yes, I saw the thick smoke swirling about 2 feet above the ground outside my home. I spend the Summer indoors, which broke my heart. Now I'm deeply concerned about the coming Summer 2019, will there be more fires in my area? I was evacd & lived through the 2003 major fire here & thank God my home survived it. But I'm seriously fed up with the last few Summers filled with smoke & ruining my Summertime. To the point where I'm seriously thinking of moving away from here. I'm a senior now, so it will be a major upheaval for me.
