No surprise. Sen. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.) announced Thursday that he will try to force a vote on legislation protecting special counsel Robert Mueller after President Trump ousted Attorney General Jeff Sessions Wednesday. Flake said he and Sen. Christopher Coons (D-Del.) will go to the Senate floor next week to try to get a deal on advancing the legislation. "When the Senate convenes next week, @ChrisCoons and I will ask for unanimous consent to bring S.2644, the Special Counsel Independence and Integrity Act, to a vote on the Senate floor. After the firing of The AG, it is more important than ever to protect the Special Counsel," Flake said in a tweet. [ link to thehill.com (secure)] Ya know... ...after all these years on here, this is the sort of move that only registers ONE WAY in my brian...that all involved are trying to save their asses. People attempting to hide the revealing of truth must be complicit. Otherwise...why fight it? Our 2018 -aka ironic '1984'- world is a veritable petrie dish of brainless colluders who can't register the fact that EVERYTHING they've EVER been party to has been filed in some public, or still protected, record... ...poised to be revealed if and when necessary. Enter Trump and Co. The swamp will be drained, as needed, when needed. There's no place to hide when your case surfaces.
