It is not counteracting gravity. It is that the magnetic waves are creating a force that is greater than the weight of the beetle wing, which is very light.

You couldn't do this with a heavier object unless you had a MASSIVE magnetic wave.

There is no gravity. There is only mass (weight) and buoyancy.
