In Constitutional carry states, almost everyone is packing. Around here, we say "An armed society is a polite society", and it is true. People don't fuck with you if they think you can shoot back. I am not Clint Eastwood, but I am too old to take an ass whooping, and I'm too young to die. I, like most people in Wyoming, never leave the house without a gun. I open carry most of the time, but in places where I think that might make someone uncomfortable, I carry concealed. When I cross a state line, sometimes the open carry laws a kinda' strange, so I go incognito. I have never drawn my weapon in self-defense, but I know it is always there. By the way, my wife carries a bigger gun than I do. She isn't afraid if anarchists, either.
