I'm sure Germans didn't create Polish nation. Who cares about political institutions its the people who make nation and nations are able to survive without state.

I will be in Poland for New Year's Eve.

So much looking forward to this trip.

I was in Poland and Lithuania last year at this time and had
an extraordinary time.

The people are strong, wicked smart, and they love their country.

The food is excellent, the women are beautiful, and *very* welcoming
to Americans who know how to act as proper, respectful guests.

When I was a kid, we used to make Pollock jokes.

Turns out they are the only smart ones left in Europe.

Nice. Am half Polish (4th generation American) and hope to visit the country one day. My Polish grandparents gave me some of the best memories of my life. Warm & fun loving but also smart & didn't take any BS.
