Quoting: drifter333 Don't underestimate the Bear Back around 1990 - when the Cold war had hardly smoothed down - I sat in on a classified briefing concerning Russian Readiness - my mind was absolutely blown at how toothless the Bear was - had been - for a long time - especially in light of so much cold war propaganda to keep our own $$$$$$ Defense spending flowing ~ Who knows what the truth is - But it seems everywhere you look the state of mankind is in decay - roads, infrastructure, military capability - its like all that energy coming out of WW2 expended in expansion and growth and now - it all decays. Sure we've got tech, and watches and wi-fi and we are all monitored from cradle to grave - but meanwhile the actual world crumbles around us ~ True human capability seems limited today - everywhere. |
