I felt it once, Jesus came to me at a time when I needed him most.

It felt like the best high in the world, love, peace, happiness, bliss all rolled in to one.

Its was the most beautiful experience of my life.

If that's what we feel, its going to be amazing and I just can't do it justice in explaining it, you have to feel it to know what I'm talking about.

Yes.. that sounds like the same sort of experience the buddhists talk about, only with a different cultural filter-context labeling the various going-ons and experiences.

What they call the Nirvana experience.

Yes, possibly the same thing.

I've done a lot of study and every culture and religion has a name for it but I believe its secretly Jesus stepping in and revealing His glory for a moment, I really believe that.

I believe He talks to all people, regardless of race or religion, in a way they can understand.

Recapturing and maintaining and going beyond that feeling is why folk "leave home" and join monasteries and spiritual centers and ashrams and mountain hermitages and so on, to practice that path in a dedicated focused way.. It's a hard path, constantly being throw up against yourself while you grind grind grind away at the negative energies we cling to, clearing the dust, piercing the dark clouds, so as to merge with the light in a uniform and permanent way, you know?

-------------
When there are clouds and fog everywhere, the world is dark, but that does not mean the sun has decomposed. Why is there no light? The light is never destroyed; it is just enshrouded by clouds and fog.

The pure mind of all living beings is like this, merely covered up by the dark clouds of obsession with objects, arbitrary thoughts, psychological afflictions, and view and opinions.

If I didn't have 4 kids to worry about and take care of, I'd be one of them, lol.

I was put on a spiritual path by The Most High long, long ago, as far back as I can remember.

As it is, I find my moments of peace in the chaos and equate it as enough. I'm kind of a man of two worlds, lol.

I would have enjoyed being a monk.

My son, 9, recently started asking me about God and where we come from and its a joy to help him see, such a sweet little guy. I take it as an enormous honor to help guide him.

All the things ive learned now coming to fruition in a multitude of ways.
